Interested in Eastbourne's future? The look, culture, business, social, and natural environs?

The ECB invites interested residents to participate in the development of the Eastbourne Strategic Plan. The Board needs the community - young and older - working together to help plan for Eastbourne's future. Working Groups reviewing Eastbourne's Built, Natural, Cultural, Business/Economic, and Social environments are being set-up. If you want your voice heard on how these areas should be recognised and managed in the short, medium, and long terms, please get involved.

Eastbourne Strategic Plan - Successful Meeting

Thanks to the 50 or so folk who came to our meeting on Tuesday, 1 November 2006.

It was great to see the enthusiasm and the wide range of views that were freely expressed. We certainly do have a very talented and diverse community with a genuine passion for the wellbeing of Eastbourne and its residents. The challenge for our working groups when they begin working on their projects in the New Year will be to rigorously seek and challenge these views and synthesise them into something the community as a whole can accept.

We are still looking for volunteers to work on the project. We want young people in particular. The future is yours!
