Korohiwa update
The Working Group will meet in October to:
· consider a brief prepared by Urban + for the Bus Barns upgrade.
· consider a draft Housing Brief.
Urban + has completed work to secure the Bus Barns.
District Plan Review – Residential provisions
· ECB presented its submission to the District Plan Committee on 20th October.
· A summary document is due in October/November
A Liquor Ban forEastbourne?
Ants Harmer our Community Constable wants you to report any alcohol related incidents to him on 04 5620850. He is assembling information to assess the need for one. HCC makes the decision.
An Ash Internment Facility for Eastbourne?
ECB raised the need for an ash internment and/or memorial wall facility in Eastbourne a few years back. Interest seems to have lapsed since - but the Board would be happy to beproven wrong. Incorporating something in the Korohiwa development could be investigated. Contact Geoff Rashbrooke if you'd like us to follow this up.
A Community Plan for Eastbourne
ECB received a staff report on this. We will be following up …keep an eye on our website for information.
We need to complete this by early 2009.
